CLIFFORD BERRY

Clifford Berry has an unmatched passion when it comes to basketball that stemmed from his time as a youth player growing up in Danville. Coach Berry was a four sport athlete (Basketball, Football, Track & Tennis) at Danville High School. In 1998 he earned the prestigious 12th Region Player of the Year award and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. He still remains one of the top scorers in school history and was inducted into the Danville High School Hall of Fame in 2017.  After high school, Coach Berry played basketball at Berea College where he was a part of the 1999 NAIA Divison II Final Four Team and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University.  Coach Berry returned to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach on the boys side for many years and eventually became the Head Girls Basketball Coach at DHS.  For over 10 years, Coach Berry has had the unique opportunity to coach boys and girls at the elementary, middle and high school level.
